S\u00e3o sem d\u00favida eficazes, n\u00e3o cursam com ganho de peso e alguns possuem efeitos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o cardiovascular importantes. Por\u00e9m al\u00e9m do alto custo dos mesmos, uma s\u00e9rie de eventos colaterais urogenitais est\u00e3o sendo descritos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esse artigo ir\u00e1 descrever mais um efeito colateral importante associado ao uso de tais medica\u00e7\u00f5es: a s\u00edndrome de Fournier, caracterizada por infec\u00e7\u00e3o necrotizante da genit\u00e1lia externa, per\u00edneo e regi\u00e3o peri-anal. O Fournier \u00e9 mais comum em homens e \u00e9 uma emerg\u00eancia urol\u00f3gica bem rara, mas potencialmente fatal. Iremos casos de Fournier informados ao FDA durante 2013 \u2013 2019 em qualquer paciente com DM2 usando medica\u00e7\u00f5es orais para o tratamento da sua doen\u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No total foram informados 55 casos em pacientes usando iSGLT2: Destes, 39 eram homens e 16 eram mulheres, a idade variava entre 33 e 87 anos. Todos pacientes ficaram gravemente doentes e precisaram de tratamento cir\u00fargico, sendo que alguns tiveram complica\u00e7\u00f5es graves associadas, tais como: cetoacidose diab\u00e9tica (8), choque s\u00e9ptico (9) e insufici\u00eancia renal aguda (4). Al\u00e9m disso tr\u00eas pacientes morreram e dois precisaram amputar uma perna devido \u00e0&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pebmed.com.br\/fasciite-necrosante-conheca-esta-infeccao-com-alta-taxa-de-mortalidade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fasci\u00edte necrosante<\/a>. Como medida de compara\u00e7\u00e3o a gangrena de Fournier foi descrita apenas 19 vezes em 35 anos de acompanhamento em pacientes com DM2 usando drogas orais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A conclus\u00e3o que chegamos \u00e9 que o Fournier \u00e9 um evento adverso recentemente identificado nos pacientes usando os inibidores de SGLT2, logo n\u00f3s m\u00e9dicos prescritores devemos estar atentos sobre essa poss\u00edvel afec\u00e7\u00e3o e identific\u00e1-la nos est\u00e1gios iniciais diminuindo a morbi\/mortalidade relacionada ao Fournier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Refer\u00eancias:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Bersoff-Matcha SJ, Chamberlain C, Cao C, Kortepeter C, Chong WH.
